A few success stories from our employees!!!

Lisa Martin

I began working for Workforce Carolina in November of 2005. I had manufacturing experience and had used the services of WorkForce Carolina in my previous employment by requesting temporary workers.  Traci Hamilton and all the folks there were great to deal with both professionally and personally.

I knew that the company had great opportunities, so I decided to come in and put in an application with WorkForce Carolina . I AM SO VERY GLAD that I did!!!   I began with a few small jobs in this area and then was asked to report to SouthData, Inc., a local manufacturing firm that is up & coming ….and expanding!

At my age I must say I thought that was impossible, the full-timers (as temporaries referred to them) were really kind, patient and understanding with the teaching process and having an on-site WorkForce Carolina leader, Allison Poteat, was thoroughly beneficial.

I have learned new procedures in production and manufacturing. Well I guess that you could say I found my niche in the job world!! I was hired to fulltime status in December of 2006. I have truly LOVED every minute of this job and could never find better people to work with.

I cannot thank Workforce Carolina enough….

Tony Barker

I was laid off from Arndt and Hermon in February 2009. I was unemployed until March of 2010 when I applied at WorkForce Carolina and they successfully placed me at Phillips-Van Heusen. While I was working at Phillips-Van Heusen I received my high school diploma because that was a requirement to become full time and it inspired me to return to school. I was hired full time on July 19, 2010. I really appreciate everything that WorkForce Carolina did for me and I am very thankful that I applied at Workforce Carolina because they found me a job that lead to full time employment.

I would like to say thank you to the entire staff at WorkForce Carolina.

I am very thankful that WorkForce Carolina was successful in finding me a great place to work and good people to work with at Phillips-Van Heusen. I was laid off from Crown Heritage and applied with WorkForce Carolina. They placed me at Phillips-Van Heusen and I was hired full time on July 19, 2010. While I was working for WorkForce Carolina, they were very good to me. I was one of the winners of the safety drawing that WorkForce gives their employees for safety awareness. I also returned to school and received my high school diploma while working for WorkForce Carolina to meet the requirement to be hired full time at Phillips-Van Heusen. I would just like to say thank you WorkForce Carolina for the great treatment that I received from the staff.
